DYDD DEWI 2023 CALL FOR PATRIOTIC ACTION IN A CAMPAIGN FOR ENGLAND TO RETURN OUR NATIONAL TREASURES STOLEN DOWN THE AGES, WITH LITTLE CONTEMPORARY CYMRIC CONCERN SHOWN, WHY IS THAT?

MANY COUNTRIES ARE REQUSTING THEIR STOLEN TREASURES BE RETURNED BUT WALES REMAINS SILENT, NOT A WORD FROM OUR 'REPRESENTATIVES' IN WESTMINSTER OR THOSE IN THAT "SHAM" OF A SENEDD IN BAE CAERDYDD AND WHY HAS NOT PLAID CYMRU CAMPAIGNED VIGOUROUSLY FOR THEIR RETURN DOWN THROUGH THE DECADES?. NOT A WHIMPER ON THE ISSUE FROM ANY OF THEM SO, IT SEEMS ITS UP TO THE REST OF US. BARRAGE THESE USELESS POLITICIANS, FORCE THEM TO ACT ON THE ISSUE. i WILL PASS THIS LIST ON TO THEM AND DEMAND ACTION, DO LIKEWISE IF YOU CARE ENOUGH. IT'S UP TO YOU?

See links before for info on some of our treasures, somebody out there may know of more?

Mae gwledydd ledled y byd yn mynnu eu trysorau cenedlaethol yn ôl oddi wrth y gwledydd sydd wedi eu hysglyfaethu ond, dim grwgnach o unrhyw fath o gwbl ar y pwnc yma oddi wrth ein cynrychiolwyr gwleidyddol yn San Steffan a Bae Caerdydd. A pam nad yw ein Plaid Genedlaethol, Plaid Cymru, ddim wedi ymgyrchu yn egniol am ddychweliad ein trysorau ar hyd y degawdau ers sefydlu'r Blaid? Dim 'smic' o'u cyfeiriad felly, ymddengys iddi fod yn nwylo'r gweddill ohonom i orfodi'r gwleidyddion 'da i ddim' sydd gennym i wneud eu dyletswydd a dechrau gweithredu i gael ein trysorau yn ôl i Gymru. Byddaf yn gyrru'r rhest isod i bob un ohonynt ac yn mynnu eu gweithrediad, erfynaf arnoch i wneud yn union yr un peth os ydych yn teimlo'n ddigon cryf parthed y pwnc i wneud hynny.

Gweler y dolennau isod am wybodaeth am rai trysorau, hwyrach bod rhywun allan yna yn ymwybodol am ragor?

The Bones of St David:

"1285 'The king [Edward Longshanks] led a solemn, triumphal procession from the Tower of London to Westminster bearing the skull of St David...and other relics which he brought from Wales."

         The Bury St Edmunds chronicler.

Following the invasion of Wales,  the king and queen of England went on pilgrimage to St David's Cathedral  and, on 26th November 1284, removed what was said to be the skeleton of St David. The skull was taken in an elaborately staged procession and presented to the Shrine of Edward the Confessor at Westminster Abbey.

Soon afterwards King Edward placed a fragment of the bone on the high altar of the church of Great St Helen at Bishopsgate. Among churches that were given parts of David's skeleton were Salisbury cathedral and Reading abbey.

When Edward died, an inventory was made; one of David's arm bones was among his personal possessions.

The Waverley Annals noted that 'the glory of the Welsh had been transferred to the English.'
