MYNYDD Y BETWS - 'STRYVELAND' MEMORIAL DEDICATION: PATRIOTIC GREETINGS FROM EMBASSY GLYNDŴR ON DYDD GWYL DEWI - ST DAVID'S DAY.
PATRIOTIC GREETINGS FROM EMBASSY GLYNDŴR ON DYDD GWYL DEWI - ST DAVID'S DAY - See Photo 1 – a Symbolic Contribution To The 'Second Struggle’ To Save Stryveland 2011 - 2013'.
The trig point was put to good use as a memorial to dedicate recognition of a victory in regards to the first struggle of 'Stryveland (Mynydd y Betws) 1282 - 1334 '. Will it symbolise ‘victory’ or, ‘defeat’ in the present ‘second’ struggle of Stryveland - 2011 – 2013? This is entirely in the hands of the patriots of Cymru so, one and all…

The ‘Memorial’ Dedication (note Windmill Plantation works in background). This will allow you to see how close the workings and fence are. A suitable place from which to make your way along the fence to place, Protest Remembrance Crosses, Ivy Posies or just Black Ribbons. That is the least one and all can do as and when possible, as individuals, families or community groups and societies.
A continuing Patriotic Action For As Long As It Takes.
Note also that this will be a major patriotic Assembly point on the 9th June for a Patriots Rally and protest march upon the Windmill Plantation.
How to get there: From Rhydaman to Betws village (about one mile) go through village and up the steep hill to Betws Mountain.
It is sigposted. Pass the Scotspine pub and the Betws Viewing Station and keep going until you come to a rough road on your left leading to the Waun Hir (See pic 2) Walk a short distance on this road, you will see the TV mast way ahead in front of you and the trig point painted white to yourright. When level to the trig point, cross the moor to it. May be wet going depending how the weather has been.

I have attached a further Photo and a map as means of assistance to finding the site on Mynydd y Betws where the trig point is located.
