That which was also the eastern point of the hard fought for Frontier of 'Stryveland' after a 54 year long struggle to restore native land to the native people from the land grabbing Anglo - Norman Robber Barons 1282 - 1334. Ironically, whilst many 'Welsh Nationalists' annually parade their shameful pathetic 'Heart on Sleeve' emotions at Battle Sites as at Rali Cilmeri 1282 and Brwydr Llwchwr 1136, so few have stood with a small band of 'Stryvelanders' in defence of Mynydd y Betws. That is their shame and not ours, we may appear to have failed and lost our struggle but no! For it is enough that a gallant few stood the 'bloodied ground' with us this long hard summer of 2012, they all will be remembered by Patriotic Posterity, the rest perhaps well forgotten as those who would not walk back into their history and thus betrayed past, present and future of their Homeland!
